Software Interview is a process of mapping job requirements to candidate's skills. Success in Interview does not depend on just Technical Skills. It's the complete DNA assessment of the person at that particular point of time.

An Interviewer looks at the following qualities in a Interviewee:

    1. Willingness to learn(passion, excitement about work)

    2. Ability to perform(problem solving skills, quick grasp(moving forward with given clues ..))

    3. Clarity of thought(clarity of expression, communication skills)

Failure in an interview does not mean candidate is bad, it just means candidature did not suit the job requirements at that point of time. It's simple. Go ahead with another interview which fits you better ..
