Invest in Yourself

The meaning of things lies not in the things themselves, but in our attitude towards them; Just change your perspective & your world changes

The mind is everything. What you think you become
Watch your thoughts, they become words.Watch your words, they become actions
Watch your actions, they become habits.Watch your habits, they become character
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny ...

People Management Tips

A manager's most important, and most difficult, job is to manage people. You must lead, motivate, inspire, and encourage them. Sometimes you will have to hire, fire, discipline or evaluate employees.

The secrets of the very best managers:-

1. Remember that your people are the biggest asset you have.

2. Develop good Time Management Skills; Nothing else distinguishes effective executives as much as their tender loving care of time.

3. Know what is important for your team; For Leaders/Managers, it's better to know the most important things than to know everything.

4. Empower People ; Encourage people to take Ownership; As a Leader/Manager, you should always challenge people to move out of their comfort zone, but never out of their strength zone.

5. Know your People; Catch the People when they are doing right NOT wrong.

6. Recognize/Appreciate your employees efforts ; Make them feel good about themselves.

7. Build Relationships; Communicaton is the key; Spread the good news , Take the blame.

8. Listen to the People, let them do most of the talking; Listening builds trust, the foundation of all lasting relationships.

9. Focus on your people’s Strengths NOT weaknesses.

10. Admit your weakness; Fill your gaps with the best people around you.

11. Build the Best teams; Leaders may impress others when they succeed, but they impact others when their followers succeed

12. Manage and Delegate Effectively.

13. Accept the Feedback whether Positive or Nagative; The difference between average people and achieving people is their perception of and response to failure.

14. Mentor/Develop the team; the growth and development of people is the highest calling of a leader.

15. Create Secondary Leadership in the team.

16. Set the high standards by setting an example by yourself.

17. Develop constant learning attitude; Leadership and learning are indispensable of eachother.

Failure is not falling down, it is not getting up again. Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm

Where there's a Will, there's a Way. Keep on doing what fear you, that is the quickest and surest way to to conquer it

Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others. For success, attitude is equally as important as ability

Krishna Kishore Koney

Blogging is about ideas, self-discovery, and growth. This is a small effort to grow outside my comfort zone.

Most important , A Special Thanks to my parents(Sri Ramachandra Rao & Srimathi Nagamani), my wife(Roja), my lovely daughter (Hansini) and son (Harshil) for their inspiration and continuous support in developing this Blog.

... "Things will never be the same again. An old dream is dead and a new one is being born, as a flower that pushes through the solid earth. A new vision is coming into being and a greater consciousness is being unfolded" ... from Jiddu Krishnamurti's Teachings.

Now on disclaimer :
1. Please note that my blog posts reflect my perception of the subject matter and do not reflect the perception of my Employer.

2. Most of the times the content of the blog post is aggregated from Internet articles and other blogs which inspired me. Due respect is given by mentioning the referenced URLs below each post.

Have a great time
